Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)
The University of Ioannina, in collaboration with Università Telematica Pegaso, officially invites undergraduate and postgraduate or PhD students to submit their applications for the Blended Intensive Programme titled “Artificial Intelligence for the Digital Society: Data, Personalization and Immersive Applications”. This innovative programme provides an integrated perspective on Artificial Intelligence as a key enabling technology for the digital society, focusing specifically on data quality, personalization systems, and immersive environments such as VR, AR, and MR.
The programme follows a blended learning format, consisting of mandatory online sessions followed by a prestigious in-person week. The online component is scheduled for May 6th, May 14th, and May 18th, 2026. The on-site week will take place from June 29th to July 3rd, 2026, in the historic center of Naples, Italy, at a venue situated adjacent to the Royal Palace of Naples, offering participants a unique cultural and academic experience.
To be eligible for participation, students must possess a documented English language proficiency of level B2 or higher. In the event that applications exceed the available funding slots, priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in an Erasmus+ BIP or short-term mobility action.
Interested candidates are required to submit a comprehensive application package in PDF format. This must include a motivation Letter of up to 300 words in English outlining the applicant's interest in AI. Furthermore, applicants must provide copies of their English language certificates, their police identity card or passport, and a detailed Curriculum Vitae in either English or Greek.
