Financed by the Periphery of Epirus under the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) Call 2007-2013, Proposal for Research & Development, (36 months, 1/7/2011-30/6/2014), title: “Development of New Materials for Immediate Use in Biological Wastewater Treatment and on Land Disposal of Solid Waste”, total budget: 150.000 €.
H). Financed by the Periphery of Epirus. Funding of 2,000,000 Euros (after evaluation of competitive proposals, 45 in total, from major Laboratories) from the Greek Government and the European Union under the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) Call 2007-2013 for the Periphery of Epirus for the establishment of an Advanced Electron Microscopy Facility at the University of Ioannina, comprising of a HR-TEM and a Low-Vacuum SEM. It is the largest funding given in the University of Ioannina for the establishment of such advanced equipment which is considered among the best in Eastern Europe and will be fully established by 31/12/2011 in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering, University of Ioannina.
Ι). Financed by the Greek Government, financial programm "Herakleitos ΙΙ - Support of research staff for doctoral research" of the Research Programm "Education and Life Education" with title, "Synthesis and characterization of novel nanohybrid materials via the use of nanoparticles and triblock terpolymers", with total budget 45000 €.
